Taylor DeHart is a principal investor at Savory Fund, a food and beverage dedicated fund that invests into and accelerates the growth of emerging restaurants. Taylor has a decade of expertise in food and beverage investments and financial strategy for emerging brands, as well as harvest modeling and transaction structuring. He is an experienced board member who currently oversees six companies inside the Savory portfolio, ranging from minority investments into technology companies to majority investments into high-growth restaurant brands, including Houston TX Hot Chicken, South Block, Saigon Hustle, and Pincho.
Taylor has performed diligence on hundreds of emerging food and beverage brands and advised multiple buy and sell-side transactions in the restaurant industry. Taylor earned an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance from BYU’s Marriott School of Management where he served as a president of the Finance Society.
