Samuel D. Stanovich has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He serves as Senior Vice President of Franchise Leadership and Alliances, focused on franchise leadership, partner relationships, and alliance development.
Prior to his current role, he served as an Area Representative and Franchisee for Firehouse Subs, responsible for Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana. He also operated a restaurant that served as the training restaurant for the market. He also owned and operated an independent Italian Restaurant.
Earlier roles include Director of Partner Product Development and Industry Relations at the National Restaurant Association, supporting initiatives including the National Restaurant Association Military Foundation. He also served as President and CEO of the Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau and spent 12 years with Marriott International.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and an Associate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Johnson and Wales University, and a Project Management certificate from Loyola University. Samuel also served as adjunct faculty at College of DuPage and Triton College. He participates in industry and nonprofit organizations in ambassador, advisory, board capacities and is the author of Catering Domination.
