Richard Del Valle

In 2023, Richard Del Valle joined Bojangles, the growing restaurant chain known for its Southern-inspired chicken, biscuits and tea, as Chief Information Officer. His responsibilities include leading the chain into the future with modernized technology and developing solutions that work toward operational efficiency. He has overseen the RFP, pilot and development of several initiatives, including AI drive-thru technology, kiosks and deployment of food and labor software systems to tackle operational efficiency, profit improvement and cost controls. Prior to Bojangles, Del Valle had served in various operations leadership roles for both franchisor and franchisee businesses, including well-known brands like Wild Wing Café, Outback Steakhouse and Friendly’s Restaurants. Most recently, Del Valle launched his own Charlotte-based restaurant consulting group, Del Valle and Associates, for which he served as CEO.
