Nathan Louer, Chief Brand Officer of Jamba, joined Focus Brands in May 2023, bringing nearly 17 years of experience in brand strategy, digital, marketing, product development and operations to this role. Previously serving as Vice President of Brand Marketing and Activation for Jimmy John’s, he led the transition, integration and marketing reorganization of the brand into the Inspire Brands portfolio after its acquisition in 2019.
He began his career at Jimmy John’s upon graduating college, serving as a field marketing specialist while developing a deep understanding of the franchise QSR space. From there, Nathan continued to evolve with the brand, holding leadership positions in marketing, advertising, public relations and consumer management before taking on his most recent role in 2020. Throughout his time at Jimmy John’s, his work was rooted in driving the company’s repositioning, media strategy and campaign development while leading nearly every aspect of the business and elevating the sandwich restaurant chain from local to national status. In 2019, he was named one of Brand Innovators’ 40 under 40 for his accomplishments in marketing and digital campaigns.
Nathan is known for building high-performing, impactful teams that propel consumer action and capitalize on opportunities. As the Chief Brand Officer of Jamba, he is responsible for the strategic direction, marketing, operations and collaboration within Focus Brands to spearhead financial and franchisee success.
Nathan was born and raised in the St. Louis area and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. He and his wife Erin, along with his children Caroline, Harrison and dog Finn, reside in Atlanta and together enjoy exploring the city.
