Mike Kappitt joined Subway in March 2020 as the company’s first Chief Operating and Insights Officer. He is responsible for leading Subway’s digital channels and platforms, including off-premises, loyalty, and gift cards. Mike also oversees the company’s analytics, insights, communications, non-traditional development, and broader business transformation teams. Prior to joining Subway, Mike spent nearly a decade at Bloomin’ Brands where he served as President of Carrabba’s Italian Grill, responsible for leading domestic operations and development, and Global Chief Marketing Officer, as well CMO for Outback Steakhouse. Before his tenure at Bloomin’ Brands, Mike held multiple leadership positions at Burger King, including the role of Chief Marketing Officer, North America.
