Marc Wallace is a visionary entrepreneur and innovator, serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Radius Networks, the parent company behind Flybuy—the leading omnichannel location platform revolutionizing the guest experience. With a deep-rooted background as a successful restaurateur, Marc intimately understands the pain points and challenges that the restaurant industry faces on a daily basis.
Marc Wallace’s journey as an entrepreneur began with the founding of District Taco, a beloved fast-casual Mexican restaurant chain that has become a staple in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. In 2009, Marc collaborated with his neighbor, Osiris Hoil, to launch District Taco in Rosslyn, Virginia. Osiris, originally from Yucatan, Mexico, brought his mother’s recipes for authentic, fresh Mexican cuisine to the local community, and District Taco was born. The restaurant started as a taco truck, and now has 17 locations with 240 employees, in VA, MD, DC, and PA, with 70 more locations in development.
Marc established Radius Networks, Inc. in 2011, and has been instrumental in shaping the Flybuy product suite to address the pressing issues that his restaurants face head-on. He draws from his extensive experience in the food and hospitality sector to develop innovative technology solutions that eliminate friction for restaurant staff and deliver a seamless, flawless experience for customers. Marc co-founded several other successful startups, including SwapDrive (backup.com), an online backup company acquired by the Norton division of Symantec in 2008. Prior to Swapdrive, he served at Orbital Sciences Corporation as an aerospace engineer and engineering manager across multiple successful rocket and spacecraft launch campaigns. Marc holds a B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University and a M.S. in Information Systems from George Washington University.
