Katerina Glyptis is President of Tim Hortons U.S., responsible for overseeing all brand functions to develop strategies, gather insights, and build cross-functional execution plans rooted in delivering an exceptional Guest experience. Katerina and her leadership team are focused on driving growth and profitability for Tim Hortons Franchisees and expanding the iconic and beloved brand across the U.S.
Katerina joined Restaurant Brands International (RBI) in 2014 as part of the leadership development program after graduating from Harvard University. Prior to joining the Tim Hortons U.S. team in June of 2023, Katerina spent 9 years with Burger King taking on several roles across the business from marketing execution to development, helping to build the BK Canada business, and working in the field as a Director of Franchise Performance and then General Manager, before becoming the Vice President of Franchise Operations for North America. In her time at Burger King, Katerina learned the importance of structuring the brand and support teams to prioritize Franchisee success, which remains a key tenant of what she holds core in her new role at Tim Hortons.
Growing up in her family’s restaurant business, Katerina has a deep passion for and understanding of the restaurant industry, small business owners, and serving Guests and community. As Guests visit Tim Hortons on average more than three times per week in the U.S. Katerina is humbled to lead a brand that plays such an important role in people’s lives.
When Katerina is not busy dreaming of Iced Capps, breakfast sandwiches and Timbits, she enjoys spending time with her family in her hometown of Cleveland, OH, and travelling to explore new adventures, experiences, food, and cultures.
