Joe Buonavolanto is a third-generation member of the Buonavolanto family with a demonstrated history of working in the restaurant industry. As Executive Vice President of The Buona Companies, he spearheads the strategic expansion of two iconic Chicago brands: Buona, the largest family-owned Italian beef restaurant group and Italian beef producer in the country, and The Original Rainbow Cone, home of the world-famous, five-flavor “Rainbow Cone.” With extensive experience spanning various roles within the business from the BOH team to Vice President of Franchise Operations for The Original Rainbow Cone and the Director of Operations for Buona Restaurants, Joe’s comprehensive understanding of the restaurant and franchise industries is instrumental in shaping the company’s future growth trajectory.
