A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Plamondon received his B.A. degree in 1985; he graduated with honors from the George Washington University’s National Law Center in 1988. Mr. Plamondon joined Plamondon Enterprises in 1995 and later assumed the role of General Counsel and Director of Administration.
In April 1998, Mr. Plamondon and his brother, Pete, Jr., purchased the company from their father and are now Co-Presidents for the company, which operates twenty-five (25) Roy Rogers Restaurants and owns the Roy Rogers trademark and franchise system, overseeing another 17 franchised restaurants. Jim and his brother also own Plamondon Hospitality Partners, a hotel management company that has developed and manages thirteen (13) hotels in three states, consisting of Marriott brands Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, and Towneplace Suites brands, and Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites by Hilton.
Mr. Plamondon is a member of the Maryland Bar Association and has previously served as a member and held leadership positions for various Boards and committees including Families Plus!, the Restaurant Association of Maryland, Maryland Hospitality Education Foundation, St. John’s Catholic Prep and more.
