Garrett Reed is the CEO of Layne’s Chicken Fingers, the soon-to-be-famous™ quick-service franchise, with over 30 locations open across the U.S.
Reed has a long history of success in commercial real estate development, having worked with the in-house real estate teams at Starbucks, Corner Bakery, Dunkin’ Donuts, RadioShack, and Zale’s. In 2005, he co-founded Main & Main Capital Group, a restaurant development firm through which he has developed more than 200 franchise units across 37 states, representing over $400 million in real estate.
A native of College Station, Texas, Reed grew up around Layne’s Chicken Fingers, which opened in 1994 and quickly became a city icon. Recognizing the brand’s potential, he purchased it in 2016 and focused on improving operations while opening corporate locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. With the brand’s continuing momentum, Layne’s is on track to open 100 locations over the next five years.
