Erin Snyder is Vice President of Franchise Development for Handel’s Ice Cream, which has been in the business of making and selling premium ice cream since 1945. Snyder is a highly experienced leader in brand growth. As Head of Franchise Development for Handel’s, Snyder will focus on identifying and recruiting high-quality franchisees, driving growth within the existing franchise network, developing and executing strategic target market strategies and accelerating system growth through successful unit openings. Handel’s boasts over 150 locations across 15 states and was founded in Youngstown, Ohio, by Alice Handel nearly 80 years ago. The company continues the sweet legacy she established from her backyard garden and upholds a commitment to quality.
Prior to Handel’s, Snyder served as Vice President Franchise Development for Level 5 Capital Partners, a next-generation growth equity firm that invests in market-defining consumer businesses. In this capacity, she was a key partner and executive liaison to Level 5’s portfolio brands – Big Blue Swim School, Heyday Skincare, KidStrong, 2U / LaundroLab and GoDog Pet Hospitality.
Snyder cultivated her franchise development experience with pizza giant Papa John’s International. She dedicated nearly 20 years to the brand, securing just over 3,500 development commitments within her 15 years as a result-driven leader on the Franchise Development team serving in various roles to drive growth for the company. She spent 11 years as an International Business Development Manager before moving up the ranks to Director of Global Franchise Development for 2 years and Director of North American Franchise Development for 2 years.
Snyder launched her career with Caesars Entertainment, Inc, the largest casino-entertainment company in the U.S. and one of the world’s most diversified casino-entertainment providers. She served as an Accounting Specialist for three years.
Snyder holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Indiana University.
