Drew founded Hat Creek Burger Company in 2008 out of a trailer in downtown Austin. Under his vision and leadership, Hat Creek has been molded into the family friendly fast casual burger patio it is today with 26 stores open across Texas. Through his commitment to creating a world-class restaurant operation, Hat Creek has its sights set on expansion over the next 30 months. Drew promulgates the overall vision of Hat Creek becoming the best fast casual family friendly restaurant in the United States and, by extension, its growth strategy through the management team he has assembled over the past 14 years. This team building has positioned the Company to undertake an aggressive growth path to realize its vision.
Drew is also CEO of 1788 Chicken LLC, the largest franchisee of Zaxby’s with 50 units operating in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oklahoma & Tennessee. Prior to founding Hat Creek, Drew served 3 years as an analyst for Century Bridge, a real estate development company.
Drew holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin where he also played basketball.
