Denise Pedini is an accomplished executive and innovation leader with a successful record of brand turnarounds, driving multi-million-dollar revenue increases, and meeting company sales objectives. She is a results-driven marketer with diverse experience in brand strategy, calendar planning, creative direction, and integrated traditional and digital marketing strategies. She has a proven ability to cultivate high-performing and customer-centric environments by hiring great people and putting the “customer first”.
Currently, Denise serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Newk’s Eatery, where she is the leader of the Marketing department, reporting to the CEO and Founder of Newk’s, overseeing all marketing and technology consumer touchpoints for 100 Corporate and franchise restaurants across 15 states. Prior to her CMO role, Denise was the Senior Vice President of Guest Experience at Newk’s where she also led the IT team to implement new technology systems such as a new ordering website through Olo, a new app with Punchh, and dine-in table ordering. She launched and integrated Newk’s first Loyalty program in under five months and achieved the first-year download goal of 300k+ and 15% participation in the first eight months. Denise revamped and streamlined Newk’s menu to reduce waste and increase profitability, eliminating nine menu items, 30 SKUs, and achieving a 25% food cost on remaining menu items. She also led and developed new recipes with the executive chef to create traffic driving LTO windows. Denise and her team create and produces all creative, TV commercials, and photoshoots in-house, saving $1.5MM a year.
Prior to Newk’s, Denise served in executive leadership roles such as: EVP and Chief Marketing Officer for Pizza Inn, Sr. Creative Executive at JCPenney, and Brand and Advertising roles at Pizza Hut.
Denise serves on the Board of Directors for the Lori Ruffin Newcomb Foundation, a Punchh Advisor Board member, and has been a Girl Scout troop leader for over 10 years.
